My site is hacked. How fast can you fix it?
Many hacked sites are cleaned the same day. I back up first, remove the malware, close the entry point and send you a short report of what was found.
What does the care plan cost?
Site Care starts at $299 a month and covers updates, backups, security monitoring, uptime checks and up to 4 hours of edits.
Wordfence says my site has malware. What should I do?
Take a backup, then do not delete files blindly. I compare the flagged files with clean copies of WordPress core, the theme and the plugins, remove injected code and backdoors, check admin users and scheduled tasks, change passwords and security keys, update everything and keep Wordfence scanning afterwards.
Can you clean a hacked site on SiteGround or other shared hosting?
Yes. Hosts often limit or suspend a site after a hack. I clean the files and the database, check the other sites in the same hosting account because infections spread between them, then ask the host to re-scan and lift the restriction.
